I was messing around today with a retro desktop background I made for myself a while back, and I thought it would look cool in the form of a website. I started messing around with paths and cool fonts and I got this neat mock-up. It’s pretty basic, but it looks effective.
I have decided to create a new project for myself to help with my photographic abilities. I call it… Project 75! Well, what does 75 have to do with anything? It is as a matter of fact the number of days in my summer, or the number of days from when school ends (Today, June 14th) to when school starts back up again (September 7th).
How neat of Apple, to just say it’s 4. The 4th. Like windows 7, when marketing couldn’t think quick enough. I think the name “iPhone 4″ is actually pretty nice. People were speculating a lot about the name of the supposed device; some interesting things came about. I heard rumors of an iPhone 4g, an iPhone HD, and a few others. I was expecting HD, but I much prefer Apples call. So, to the point… the new device in all of its glory.
I think one of the coolest ways to make something look professional is to make it simple. If there is nothing to look bad, then it can’t look bad. Lets use Apple Inc. as an example. The ‘Apple font’ is simply Verdana, no complicated font choice. This is because Apple is smart, they know that if there is nothing to dislike, then everybody will accept how it looks to some extent.
Well, summer sure is coming up quickly. It really is just a matter of short weeks until it’s officially here. I have some things planned that might be interesting. I’ll share them I guess.
